On the 14th of June the famous Pitti Immagine Uomo fashion trade fair marked its 90th edition in Florence, Italy. Hi guys,

Last week I visited the  “ODE TO DUTCH FASHION”  exhibition  at the Gemeentemuseum in The Hague. Apparently it is the biggest overview on Dutch designs ever presented, so let’s have a look what it is all about.

The exhibition showcases Dutch fashion from 1900 till nowadays. It is divided into ten key themes that cover all aspects of Dutch fashion revealing its typical characteristics namely clean lines, sharp geometric patterns and unusual contrasts. Continue Reading →

Saloné della Moda – International Fashion Celebration in Rotterdam

The 4th edition of the Salloné della Moda fashion event successfully launched on 10 September in Rotterdam.  For 3 days young fashion designers – both international and Dutch – were revealing their latest collections to fashion professionals, photographers, bloggers and just fashion lovers.  During all 3 days next to fashion shows one could admire also thematic exhibits and presentations.
I  had the opportunity to join the fashion “party” on Day 2 where the following four designers were presenting their collections.

FashionClash Festival In Maastricht

12-14 June 2015 – The 7th edition of the annual FashionClash Festival was hosted last weekend in Maastricht. More than 100 emerging designers and artists from 30 countries were showcasing their work to the industry professionals, media and general public.
For 3 days the small city of Maastricht became the center of fashion celebrations. The fashion festival spread its wings all over the city.
